Hi there! I am the counselor at Lawson High School. This is my 26th year in the Lawson School District. I began my career as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and moved into my current role as counselor in 2008. I am a graduate of Lawson High School and received my undergraduate degree from University of Missouri—Columbia. I earned my Master’s Degree in school counseling from UMKC in 2007, and completed my Educational Specialist Degree in school counseling at UMKC in May of 2014. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and love movies, love to cook and love the Missouri Tigers. I look forward to assisting all LHS students in handling school and personal issues, planning courses and preparing for college or career.
