Progress Reports for Newcomers

The Progress Reports for Newcomers are meant to be sent home with student report cards in order to provide families with more information about their child’s language acquisition process and progress. This collection of progress reports includes two progress reports for each grade band, one for ELP Level 1-2 and one for ELP Level 2-3 (Spanish translations are also included). The progress reports are word documents and should be downloaded and completed using Microsoft Word.

The Grades 1-8 Progress Report Folders also contain sample writing prompts that can be used flexibly to show concrete student growth in writing at multiple points throughout the year as well as used as benchmarks to be sent home to families with progress reports.
