Join us at orientation!

HTA holds orientations for all training programs at our kitchen on Western Avenue. Please call us to setup a time to attend, then come as you are with an open mind to learn about our training programs! You will learn about the hospitality industry and the components of our trainings.

*If you are interested in our Culinary and Apprenticeships, there are specific information sessions that you must attend in order to apply for the program. These are held at different times throughout the year. Please email info@lahta.org to be added to the interest list and will contact you before we begin recruiting to include you in the process!

Fill out a referral form!

After orientation, please fill out a referral form to let us know if you are interested in training and how you heard about the HTA. One of our case managers will call you to schedule a time to come in for an assessment.

Meet with a case manager!

When you come in to meet with your case manager, they will help you discover what type of training and employment you are looking for and help you sign up for upcoming training that best works for you.

Attend training!

Once we have identified what training you will take, you will begin classes, at no cost to you, that will help you get the skills you need to get a job in the hospitality industry.

Send in job applications and get ready for interviews!

After training, case managers will help you work on your resume, apply for jobs and prepare you for your interviews.

Get to work!

Once you’ve landed the job, HTA case managers will follow-up as you start working. We want to ensure your success in your new career and help you move up the hospitality career ladder.
