Background Research

From our research, we discovered that N-95 respirators (without valves), are most effective against COVID-19; however, those are reserved for healthcare professionals. So instead, the CDC recommends wearing breathable, fabric face coverings with two or more layers. It should fit comfortably around the sides of your face, leaving no gaps, and cover your mouth and nose entirely. The mask should have a nose wire, too, so air can't leak from the top. Since, most cloth masks don't fit all these categories, surgical masks typically provide better protection.
