Graphic COmmunications

about this class

Graphic arts and graphic communications are a creative process that combine art and technology to communicate ideas. This course provides students with basic training in the methods, tools and materials, and media of commercial art. Students use industry standard software to create projects that include logo design, typography, poster art, album art, page layout, introduction to motion graphics, preparing art for print, documentation, employability skills, drawing and creative exercises. This is the most entry-level course in our pathway and as a concentrator course it serves as a prerequisite for the Production class.

This course is UC-AG  "g" approved.
