Welcome
Welcome to Math 6! This year we have spent most of our Zoom meetings working on lessons from Desmos that align with the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum. Below you will see some student samples of digital activities that students have worked on this semester. Thanks for visiting!
JAMBOARD
(Jamboard is an online interactive whiteboard. I have used it in my classes for students to show their math work.)
PIXEL ART
(Paperless color by code activity. Students enter their answers in the answer column. If answers are correct, an image starts to appear.)
THREE READS
(The THREE READS protocol includes reading a math scenario three times with a different goal each time. The First read is to understand the context. The Second read is to understand the mathematics. The Third Read is to create a question and plan for solving the problem.)
ERROR ANALYSIS
(Students analyze an example of student work, look for errors and make corrections.)
