This year has flown by and what a year it has been! In the links below, you will get to view student work. I wish I had room to showcase all of my students, but you will get a quick snapshot on what students have been working on. Our focus has been on the "Writer's Workshop" model. Make sure to ask your student to show you their amazing final writing pieces!
✏️Personal Narratives
Students worked on getting creative and writing their own "Personal Narratives", where they got to choose a personal experience. They wrote with creativity adding all different writing techniques, especially internal dialogue. The goal was to make the reader experience what the writer was going through at that particular time! Students made their writing COME TO LIFE! Have fun reading!
✏️ Informational Research Books
There are many social issues going on in our world today. Students chose a social topic with a focus on "Teen Activism". They researched and created an informational book in Google Slides to teach the reader about their topic. Students used their writing skills and technology skills to create such wonderful books with images that related to the social issue they wrote about. The topics included: environmental problems in our world today, child labor, animal abandonment, and equal education. Enjoy!
