How do I apply?
Grover Cleveland Charter High School is an LAUSD Affiliated Charter and certain rules apply in the application process.
Step 1: Is Cleveland High School your school of residence (home school)? Check out LAUSD's Home School Finder.
YES, Cleveland is my home school.
Is your child currently enrolled in an LAUSD middle school?
YES, my child is currently enrolled in LAUSD.
Step 2: Talk to the middle school counselor.
Let your counselor know that your child will be attending Cleveland High School.
Fill out Cleveland's program request form (forthcoming) and choose "Advanced Studies" as your FIRST CHOICE.
YES, Cleveland is my home school.
Is your child currently enrolled in an LAUSD middle school?
NO, my child is currently enrolled in an independent charter or private school.
Step 2: Apply using this LAUSD enroll portal.
Select the tab "PRE-ENROLLMENT / NEW STUDENT"
Select the "RESIDENT SCHOOL" tab and start a new application.
NO, Cleveland is not my home school.
Step 2: Apply using the APPLY LAUSD Enrollment Application starting in October 2025.
Select the "Affiliated Charter Schools" tab
Select "Cleveland Charter High"
