On March 7, the March Madness tournament was held in the gym with team TTG against faculty members. Overall team TTG remained victorious. With a special bell schedule and a fifty minute extended lunch to enjoy the fame. The gym was filled with Carson Cheer and support from students.

The AEE kickball tournament officially kicked off Monday February 24th at lunch. There are 4 teams each run by 3 staff members. The next match is March 27th. It will be team “TNLU” versus team “Ramp Talk”. Following that on April 10th, it is the “Fonzies” versus “SDBH”.
Teams: Fonzies, Ramp Talk, SDBH, TNLU
Fonzies: Put together by Mr. Soltysik, Ms. Ravelo, and Ms. Banjo are currently 0-1 after suffering a loss to start the tournament against team "TNLU".
Ramp Talk: Ran by Mr. Paez, Mr. Nunez, and Ms. Pak also begin the tournament 0-1 after the loss taken against team "SDBH".
SDBH: The trio of Mr. Cole, Mr Mikey, and Ms. Sabrina are victorious after a 10-1 win versus team "Ramp Talk".
TNLU: The final team listed run by Ms. Gonzalez, Mr Banda, and Mr. Edward are also 1-0 after the victory against team "Fonzies".

On April 28 our baseball team will take the trip to San Pedro and face off against the Pirates in the 2nd out of 3 games in the series at 3 pm. On Wednesday the 30th the Colts will take them on at home at 3 pm for the final game of the series. Later that week on Friday May 2 The colts have there Senior Night at 3 pm against Roosevelt High. LETS GO BOYSSS!!!

On Monday April 28 our girls face off at home against Rancho Dominguez at 3 pm Later that week on Thursday May 1 they will play at home again against San Pedro for the second and final game of the series at 3pm. Last time these 2 faced off it didn't go to well for our lady colts, while doing their best and battling to keep their 3-0 against the pirates they fell short later in the game with a final score of 9-3. LETS GOO LADYS!!!!

On February 24th, 2025 the boys volleyball team had their first game against Marshall highschool. They swept Marshall on all three teams (Frosh, J.V, Varsity). With this being the seniors last first game for this year we asked them questions on how they felt about going into the season and their mindsets. Senior Jeremy Roncal (setter) wants to go into the season with a “Kobe mentality” and Growth mindset. For his first game he expects no injuries, clean sweep on Marshall, and wants everyone to play their best. Ethan Phorn (outside hitter) has similar expectations as his peer Jeremy and wants to have the mindset of “do it for Lebron.” Ethan Phorn expected a victory out of their first game and made quite the achievement.
During this match against Marshall , varsity showed consistency and all out effort. They ended the match at 3-0 , and constantly were leading in points all throughout the match. The team not only was aggressive at the net , but also at the service line.
