The Passover
The Passover of Jesus refers to the final meal Jesus shared with his disciples before his arrest and crucifixion. It took place during the Jewish festival of Passover, which commemorates the Israelite' escape from slavery in Egypt. At this meal, Jesus reinterpreted traditional Passover symbols—bread and wine—as representing his body and blood, establishing the foundation for the Christian practice of Communion (the Eucharist). He also predicted that one of his disciples would betray him (Judas Iscariot) and foretold Peter's denial. The Last Supper marks a major turning point in the story of Jesus’ passion (his suffering and death) and shows his deep awareness of his coming sacrifice for humanity.

Spring break took place from April 12 to April 20, giving students and teachers a week off from school to relax and recharge. After a long stretch of classes, this break was a great chance to take a break from homework and daily routines. Many students spent their time shopping at places like the Del Amo Mall and SouthBay Pavilion Mall. Others enjoyed hanging out at city parks or spending time with friends. The break ended with Easter Sunday, a day many families celebrated together with special meals and activities. It was a fun and refreshing week for everyone!
