EJ Changemakers are driven to know more about the world and make a habit of observing, pondering, and questioning their environment.
EJ Changemakers strategically seek out reliable sources of data, on both the past and the present, and use that data to inform their understanding of the climate crisis and their decisions on how to restore environmental justice.
EJ Changemakers maintain optimism by being well-informed on liberatory solutions to environmental crises, and draw on these solutions while advocating for change to encourage enthusiasm.
My action project group decided to have an interview with a representative from the Cleveland Department of Health to broaden and strengthen our own knowledge on the issues surrounding air quality within our city. We built our research on how poor air affects individuals but we didn't really know how people were dealing with in within the city of Cleveland and what the city is going to do in order to solve these problems.
Together my peers and I created a story map recognizing and highlighting the History of the Environmental Justice Movement. Here we documented important moments throughout time have helped create what we know as Environmental Justice.
Within this assignment we focused on learning about solutions for agricultural issues that our world faces and specialized in learning about specific methods and the ways in which these methods invoke beneficial results for the farming industry.
