Our names are Andrés Álvarez and Amalia Mejía, and we have the honor of chairing this solemn committee: the United Nations Security Council for LASMUN V. We are extremely grateful to be able to visualize the potential of each one personally in a space built in pillars of mutual respect, diplomacy, and integrity. We have complete confidence in your capacities and hold full conviction that the designation preceding the name of an esteemed Member-state is paramount to unlock the boundless success chain on the principal commission of the United Nations.
Bear in mind that the word of a delegate is significant and capable of effecting a radical change in the committee; ergo, use your influence and the privilege of participation with constructive connotations. Never confuse the precaution of a valuable perspective with fear, hence don’t be afraid of being an active member of the commission; that captures the essence.
