Fall 2020 update:
In a new Santa Fe Navy Week video, the USS New Mexico crew acknowledges and thanks you students and staff - our LAMS USS New Mexico Support Crew (from Fall 2019) - for the encouragement notes, the backpack with our NM mammal black bear, and Ms. Kareen's NM-state-shaped wooden cutting board. Way cool for their acknowledgment and response.
I will share with you support crew any video link.
Could we possibly organize and coordinate a video call with USS NM crew members and their other support schools this November?
Update March 13, 2020: Covid19 put a pause on the Captain and his crew's visit to New Mexico and specifically Santa Fe, where we hoped to meet them there.
We are in preliminary plans for our possible Santa Fe Field Trip on Friday, March 20th < > where we will be able to personally meet and thank our USS New Mexico Submarine Captain and crew members.
Please have your LAMS Hawk Student - Support Crew Member, or interested new member - sign in to our Google "Crew"room @ aycdbgs
