Let's make the most of our new at-home, homeschool-hybrid learning situation.
1) Keep reading. For fun and for academics (usually school assigned topics & academics).
2) Keep practicing and growing stronger (with more challenge) in math.
These are my recommendations to build your new at-home learning routine, that is both daily and weekly.
We educators here in New Mexico recommend at least 3 hours a day, or at least 15 hours a week.
Cooperate with your teachers who are trying to adapt to this challenge, who are trying to provide you learning activities to keep you growing.
And enjoy this opportunity to learn some new creative hobbies and skills in art, music. Even sports. And possibly use these new things you want to learn as motivation to get your at-home learning work completed more purposefully and directly.
Don't waste this opportunity to keep your academic skills strong and continually developing.
Learn to cook a new recipe.
Build a digital game you'd be proud to share with friends and family and have them test it out for you.
Stay connected with family and friends.
You can make the most of this new challenging opportunity to learn at-home. And when you get into a daily and weekly routine of work, the challenging will become rewarding.
