You must create a Parchment account.
If you haven’t created a Parchment account yet, use the Parchment video to get started.
Your information must match your high school records (e.g., Christopher, not Chris).
If you have two last names, enter both in the last name field.
Be sure your information is accurate.
Use a personal email address, not your school email—you won’t have access to it after graduation.
Your college start year should be your graduation year, and your beginning year is the fall of your freshman year of high school.
Parchment is free for current students.
A fee applies after July 1 of your graduation year.
To avoid fees, submit all transcript requests before July 1.
Sending Transcripts Through Parchment
Each time you apply to a college, you must send your transcript using this Parchment link.
📌 Note: You won’t be able to view your current transcript until after you submit a request.
At the end of the school year, seniors must send a final transcript to the college they plan to attend.
Once you've decided on a school, you can select “Hold for Grades” or “Hold for Degree” when making the request.
These final transcripts will be processed in June.
Sending Transcripts to Individuals or for Special Purposes
If you have the recipient’s email address, you can use Parchment to send your transcript directly to an individual.
This option is helpful for:
College coaches or recruiters
Scholarship applications
Job applications
Insurance discounts (e.g., sending to your insurance agent)
Murray State Racer Academy students
-Send transcripts to: msu.raceracademy@murraystate.edu
-Mrs. Bivens is the contact point for MSU Racer Academy
Requesting Hard Copies for Local Scholarships
For many local scholarships, current students can stop by Mrs. Price's office to request a transcript.
An official hard copy will be prepared for you.
Please allow two business days before picking it up from the counseling office.
Official transcripts include a school seal and an original signature.
🚫 Do not copy or print your own transcript—only official copies will be accepted.
Transcripts for Student-Athletes
Student-athletes must submit an official transcript from each high school or academic program they’ve attended.
⚠️ Grades transcribed from one school onto another school’s transcript will not be accepted.
If you’ve attended multiple schools within the same district using a shared/common transcript, only one transcript is required.
For more details, refer to the NAIA Guide or NCAA Guide for student-athletes.
Academic Destinations
Then select either the NAIA Eligibility Center or the NCAA Eligibility Center
Important:
Wait until your transcript includes all completed coursework through graduation, unless you’re eligible for early decision.
If sending early, select “Hold for Grades.”
After signing with a school, send final, official transcripts to:
Your chosen college or university
The NAIA Eligibility Center or NCAA Eligibility Center
Parchment is free for current students.
A fee applies after July 1 of your graduation year.
To avoid fees, submit all transcript requests before July 1.
ACT/SAT Score Reports for Student-Athletes
Student-athletes should send their ACT or SAT scores directly through their ACT or College Board account.
✅ If you selected the eligibility center as a score recipient when registering for the test, you do not need to send another report.
📌 Be sure to send your scores to:
NAIA Eligibility Center – Code: 9876
NCAA Eligibility Center – Code: 9999
The college or university you plan to attend
Don't forget to send your college transcripts!
In addition to your high school transcript, you must also send official college transcripts to the college you plan to attend.
🏫 Your high school cannot award college credit - only the accredited college where you earned the credit can do that.
📎 Use the links at the top of this page to request your transcripts. Most colleges charge a small processing fee.
📅 Important: Do not send your college transcript until your final grades have been posted. Check with your instructor or the college’s academic calendar to confirm.
Requesting Your FINAL Transcript
Colleges and employers require your final transcript, which includes:
All final grades
Your class rank
Your graduation date
📌 You cannot begin fall college classes until your final transcript has been received.
If you request before the end of the school year:
Choose "Hold for Grades" or "Hold for Degree" — it will be processed in June.
If you request after graduation:
Choose "Send Now" to release your completed transcript.
🎓 Important:
Parchment is free for current students.
A small fee applies to former students after July 1 of your graduation year.
👉 To avoid the fee, submit your final transcript request before July 1.
✅ You should send your final transcript to any college you might attend in the future, even if you're still deciding.
Sending Additional Documents Through Parchment
You can send other important documents through Parchment—not just your transcript.
📄 KYOTE Scores
If you met college benchmarks through KYOTE instead of the ACT, your college will need a copy of your KYOTE scores.
Mrs. Bernard oversees KYOTE testing.
Be sure to request a copy of your KYOTE scores from her before graduation.
📑 Unofficial Test Scores
You can also request unofficial test scores through Parchment when you request your transcript—do this before the end of the school year.
Your unofficial ACT scores appear on your high school transcript sent via Parchment.
⚠️ Please note: These are unofficial because they are not sent directly from ACT and may not be accepted for college admission.
To send official ACT scores:
Log in to your ACT account
Select the colleges you want to receive your score report
Pay the required fee
💡 Tip: You can send scores to four colleges for free each time you take the ACT. Be sure to use this option when registering!
