LaRue County High School operates on a six-period schedule, allowing students to earn at least 24 credits throughout their high school career.
*Students may be eligible to earn additional credits through our college partners (such as dual‑credit courses).
English – 4 credits
Math – 4 credits (including Algebra I, Geometry, & two additional pathway-aligned math credits)
Science – 3 credits (lab-based)
Social Studies – 3 credits
Health & PE – 1 credit (½ health, ½ PE)
Visual & Performing Arts – 1 credit
Electives / Career Pathway Courses – 6 credits
LaRue County High School uses Infinite Campus to track grades and attendance.
Parents and guardians may request access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to stay informed about their student's academic progress.

3 Unexcused Absences: A truancy notification letter will be mailed to the parent/guardian.
6 Unexcused Absences: A Final Notice Letter will be delivered during a required meeting with the Director of Pupil Personnel (DPP). This may take place either through a home visit or an in-school conference.
15 Unexcused Absences: A formal truancy complaint will be filed with the County Attorney’s Office. The student and parent/guardian will be required to appear in court.
