Why Focus on STEM Education & College/Career Opportunities - using Health & Wellness as an interest point for our school communities' peers.

Black women and Hispanic Men and Women make up the least amount of individuals in the Science & Engineering Occupations in proportion to their numbers in the US Population as a whole.

STEM workers earn more than others who are educated in non-STEM careers. If Hispanic/LatinX and Black persons do not have proportional access to STEM careers then they will earn less overall. That is why STEM Education and College/Career interest is important in schools.
