Willow's Wonderful Week

This week Willow had the opportunity to work at The Hundred of Hoo Secondary Academy. Willow met her Uncle Monty who is the Dog Mentor at Hoo. At first she wanted to play 'chase' with him as she had not met him before. However, after a playful hello, Willow worked with Monty supporting lots of children ranging from 11-19 years of age.

Discovery Class have been teaching Willow how to programme the Spheros! Willow liked chasing the Sphero and the class think Willow liked it best when the Sphero changed its colour to being blue. We think that is her favourite colour!

Willow has also been working with Apollo and Jubilee classes to support the children's mathematical development. Apollo Class have been learning to sort odd and even numbers and in Jubilee Class explored repeated addition.

In Kanzi Class this week, Willow joined the children for their outdoor learning time. She enjoyed identifying a range of smells! Willow also worked with Pazazz Class in the Library. Willow loves to listen to a good story! Willow has been working with Melrose Class to write reports about their trip to Dover Castle and she has also enjoyed Sensory Circuits this week with members of the class!
