We have had a number of children going on some exciting adventures this week!
Year 2 pupils started their week by going to Mote Park. This trip helped the children's understanding of their Central Idea of "plants rely on their environment to survive," and enhanced the children’s understanding of plants, their environments and what they need to survive. Their behaviour was exemplary throughout the trip.
The excitement didn't stop there with Year 1 taking the train to London to visit the Natural History Museum. It was an amazing experience for the children to not only visit one of London's, and indeed the UK's, most famous museums but to also experience getting a train to London. The children did incredibly well and gained so much from the day. Although very tired by the end, they had the best day! We'd like to say a big thank you to all of our parent helpers and volunteers. We are deeply appreciative of you supporting us in our pursuit for making core memories for our children.
I am really pleased to share that Jasper in Pazazz Class, Year 3, was the runner up in the whole of Key Stage Two across the Trust for the LAT Virtual Arts Competition. That is a huge achievement given the number of entries from across all of the academies. You can see his entry below. Well done Jasper - we are very proud of you!
One more celebration is of our OPAL provision. As you know, this is something as a school that we are incredibly proud of. Not only because of the platinum status that we were awarded in October 2024 but also because we can truly see the positive impact it has on our children and how it enables us to be fully inclusive in every aspect of our day. The success of our implementation is spreading far and wide and we are now becoming inundated by other schools wanting to see our provision with the view of mirroring it in their own settings. We are so proud of what we have all, as a community, achieved with this and thank you for your continued support of it.
Have a lovely weekend.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
