Reserving the Tech Bistro
Update for Fall 2023: The Tech Bistro will be unavailable for reservation or walk-in use until January 2024.
This is our Technology training and conference room, which offers the following amenities:
Eight people can work comfortably in the room. There are eight Chrome desktops whose screens can accommodate two full-size browser windows side-by-side, making it ideal for curriculum document comparison and detailed work.
On the back counter are two touchscreens with Chrome desktops. These can be used by dual presenters and those screens can be shared on the 70" TV mounted at the front of the room. Each presenter desktop also has an IPevo document camera attached.
The presenter's wireless keyboard and mouse can be used from anywhere in the room, and additionally the mouse can be used while standing and walking around.
There is a 1080p camera atop the 70" TV for full-room videoconferencing, and there is a phone with a direct-inbound phone number.
Room usage guidelines
Please be sure that you are reserving the Bistro to facilitate your work using the tech within. There are other conference rooms in the building for general conversations and other meetings.
Drop-in usage is welcome when the room is not scheduled on the calendar.
There is an open door between the Bistro and the Tech Office. We are working in our office during the day. Please keep your conversations at a respectful volume. From our office we can hear every "confidential" and "personal" discussion you have, so plan accordingly.
Please respect our office space. Our office is not for "spillover" conversations, lounging, or to leave bags.
Please push in chairs and sign out of your accounts when you are finished. Please dispose of any trash when you leave as well.

Reservations to use the room are made through Aspen Anderson at Central Admin. Tech Office staff do not make reservations, nor do we know on a day-by-day basis who is in the room.
In very rare cases, bookings may be moved due to student needs. This may happen during testing season, as both Pathfinder HS and SpEd use the room for student testing.
