The kit includes four IPads in protective cases, as well as four chargers and charging cables.

You can also check out the Osmo kits for additional IPad activities.

Checkout logistics: Equipment stored at the Tech Office. Please check the schedule to see if this kit is available on the dates you want, then reserve it via our online form.

Screenshots from February 2020 are shown below. Here is a list of most of the installed apps:

  • Bugs and Buttons 1 and 2: Each app is a collection of activities and games designed to provide early learning skills in a fun way. Skills include motor skills (tap, drag, pinch, tilt, etc) and curriculum (letters, numbers, shapes, sorting, counting, body parts, etc).

  • StarFall Learn to Read

  • Osmo apps: Requires the matching Osmo kits to function.

  • Various apps: Activities for words and letters, numbers, and telling time

  • ToonCamera: Make cartoon-like photos from the camera that you can save and print for art projects, boards, etc.

  • Children's World Atlas

  • PBS Video: Requires an Internet connection and a free PBS account.

  • Incredibox: Incredibox is a music app for creating your own music with the help of a merry band of beatboxers. Part game, part tool, Incredibox is above all an audio and visual experience that introduces kids and adults to notions of rhythm and melody. Visit https://www.incredibox.com/ for more information.

  • SimpleTransfer: This is a teacher utility that will allow you to quickly move photos and videos from the IPad to another tablet, smartphone, or personal computer. If you use the IPad to take photos in your preschool, this can quickly move them to another device.
