New for the 2025-2026 school year, Fremont #1 has begun its "AI Hopscotch"
series of professional development opportunities around Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and usage.
We call it a "hopscotch" as these resources are designed for staff, students, and the community. Different groups may "jump" from one topic to another, depending on their own current levels of familiarity and interest.
On this page, we've gathered resources for each of our AI applications
we currently use and support.

Google Gemini / Notebook LM
Google Gemini / Notebook LM
Gemini is an AI foundation built into our Google Workspace for Education subscription. Notebook LM is a "research and thinking partner"
How to access: You can find both Gemini and NotebookLM in your Google Workspace menu, as well as bundled within Google Classroom and other apps. You can also go directly to Gemini at https://gemini.google.com/app and NotebookLM at https://notebooklm.google.com/ as well.

MagicSchool.ai (and MagicStudent)
MagicSchool.ai (and MagicStudent)
MagicSchool is an education-focused AI dashboard with a student-use component. The District currently subscribes to MagicSchool for all staff.
How to access: Staff can visit magicschool.ai and use the "Sign in with Google" option to access the full features of MagicSchool Enterprise. Students may access MagicSchool via a class code generated by a teacher, using only the tools allowed by that teacher.

Brisk
Brisk
Brisk is an AI agent with a strong integration with Google Workspace.
How to access: Brisk is available only for teachers. Look for the Brisk extension in the Chrome web browser.
