The Lancaster School District Preschool Program offers many opportunities for parents to stay involved with their child’s education. We believe that the partnership between the program and the parent is what supports children to succeed. Parent/Teacher partnership is vital to the success of your child’s cognitive, social emotional, and language development. We offer many different ways for all members of the family to get involved in your child’s experiences here in preschool. El programa preescolar del distrito escolar de Lancaster ofrece muchas oportunidades para que los padres se mantengan involucrados en la educación de sus hijos. Creemos que la asociación entre el programa y los padres es lo que ayuda a los niños a tener éxito. La asociación entre padres y maestros es vital para el éxito del desarrollo cognitivo, social, emocional y del lenguaje de su hijo. Ofrecemos muchas formas diferentes para que todos los miembros de la familia se involucren en las experiencias de su hijo aquí en preescolar. Parent Information & Education Workshops
Please join us on Wednesday mornings from 8:30am - 9:30am for our virtual parenting workshops. Weekly raffles and incentives will be given, and certificates of completion are also available for those who attend the entire series.
Healthy Parenting
The Healthy Parenting workshop is 6 weeks that will focus on parenting skills, and implementing the following: health, sleep, nutrition, and physical activity routines. Parents act as important role models during the early ears of a child's life and we are here to help you foster good parenting skills/routines to help you little learners.
Why do kids do that?
This is a 5 session workshop that will focus on behaviors, and why kids do what they do. Our Behavior Paras will model resources and strategies to use at home for mistaken behaviors.
