Happy Chinese Lunar New Year (February 1), to students, families and staff who celebrate it.
National Black History Month serves as both a celebration and a powerful reminder that Black history is American history, Black culture is American culture, and Black stories are essential to the ongoing story of America — our faults, our struggles, our progress, and our aspirations." (excerpt from President Biden's 2022 Proclamation)
In February we honor Black History Month, which begins February 1st and ends on March 1, 2021.
During the month of February we take a moment to celebrate the contributions of Black Americans throughout the years. We'll get an opportunity to learn about all the amazing people that brought to life many important roles, inventions, contributions to human rights, and different careers that are essential.
Join us in learning and celebrating Black History Month.
