Congrats to Andrew Eckman, Antony Reyes, Sofia Nesbitt, and Leigha Freed who recently participated in the L.L.M.E.A. County Band South Festival. Each year, the festival comprises nearly 200 students from 14 districts and private schools. This year, four McCaskey students attended the one-day festival and put together a wonderful concert. These students spent the day under the direction of Mr. Chris DeVona, Assistant Director of Bands at James Madison University. 

It's not too soon to start thinking about this year's spring production! Every student is invited to audition. We are looking for singers, dancers, comedians or any other talent you would like to show off. The production will be a cabaret-style performance - like a talent show. We would like to feature material from all decades and genres, so break out that Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis, Bee Gees, Prince, Whitney, Mariah, Beatles, or anything else you love! Stay tuned for an audition announcement! Rehearsals will begin in April. And, of course, save the date for this year’s show: May 14th and 15th. Contact Mrs. Welch in J.P. 181 with questions.
