Students and staff can register to participate and donate to raise funds for the Special Olympics, which our Unified Track team competes in every year. A mobile polar plunge will be set up outside of East on March 13th from 10am-2pm. Students and staff must raise a minimum of $35 to participate. You can either pay that entire fee yourself or can use the fundraiser link provided. This is a great way to get your McCaskey team or club involved as you can raise those funds together. The top 3 athletic teams with the most athletes participating will win a pizza party.
We want to remind everyone to donate your unwanted food items to our share table. In each cafeteria, you’ll find a bin in the front where you can drop in unopened food items that you don’t plan on eating. This really goes a long way to help students who are hungry or looking for extra snacks. With only a small action, we can all make a big difference each day. Remember, everyone, sharing is caring.
Our Student I.T. Help Desk is now officially open! This is a place where students and staff can come for assistance. Students can get help with any tech issue, and staff can come for simple fixes. The student Help Desk is student-run and is open every school day during periods 3-10 in East A103. You do not need to submit a ticket or make an appointment first.

Did you know that P.B.I.S. stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports? This is the way that a lot of schools look to reward students for doing the right thing instead of punishing those who do the wrong thing. Our staff members are always looking to give students P.B.I.S points for being responsible, respectful, and safe. So, make sure you keep doing the right thing. And, remember, to check your point balance! You can use your points to get cool stuff from the Tornado Zone on Thursdays during lunch.

To participate, you must meet the following qualifications: Have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Students with a lower GPA may be able to participate but require special approval from McCaskey Campus administration. Counselor and high school administration approval. Some college partners have additional requirements. Are you interested? Talk with your counselor about dual enrollment today.
