After an injury or illness, returning to work safely and promptly can help in your recovery. It can also help you avoid financial losses from being off work. When you return to work and in what capacity will involve several people:
Your primary treating doctor
Your employer
Your supervisor
Your claims administrator
Your attorney, if you have one
Need clear medical documentation of work restrictions and limitations.
Require doctors to address returning to work at every appointment.
Will involve the employee throughout the entire process
Avoid any ADA violations
