What is Clever?

Clever is a portal that allows our student information system to communicate with the different software programs, apps and materials that require logins to work. 

Clever can be accessed via a badge for younger students as you will see in the video below. Older students will have access to Clever upon logging into their Google Account. Opening Chrome will display a small blue "C" in the top right corner.

Accessing Clever on a Chromebook

Accessing Clever via Google Chrome can be done very quickly and in only a few steps

• Sign into your school issued Chromebook or open the Google Chrome browser by clicking the Google Chrome Icon on your tablet.

• In the extensions bar (top right corner of Google Chrome) you will see a small blue square with a white C. Click this icon, this is Clever.

• Select your school. You will search by entering Lakewood followed by your school name. Example Lakewood Emerson or Lakewood Hayes, etc.

• Clever is also available on the District web page under the "Students" button titled "Clever".

• Click login with Google
