West Shore Career-Tech College Credit Options
The West Shore Career-Technical Programs offers students the opportunity to earn college credit similar to Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The college credit is in a technical area related to the Career-Tech program. Students earn credits by meeting the college requirements, passing the Ohio Department of Education’s End of Course exams or passing the related industry credential. Students need to complete the required paperwork and meet deadlines to earn the college credit.

Automotive Technology 2-30 college credit hours
Business Management 3-16 college credit hours
Construction Trades 7-13 college credit hours
Culinary Arts 11-21 college credit hours
Early Childhood Education 6-9 college credit hours
Electronic Engineering Technology 11-15 college credit hours
Engineering Technology 10-15 college credit hours
Health Careers Technology 3-12 college credit hours
Media Arts and Design 6-18 college credit hours
Medical Office Management 6-22 college credit hours
Networking/Cisco 14-30 college credit hours
Sports & Exercise Science 9-29 college credit hours
Theatre Arts 15 college credit hours
*College credits agreements are subject to change. College credit is accepted at Ohio public colleges where majors exist in the same career field. It is at the discretion of private colleges to accept these college credits.
