CAREER AND TECHNICAL PROGRAMS

Secondary students in Lakeside School District have access to twenty one Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs of Study. CTE programs are offered on the high school campus, at National Park Technology Center (NPTC), and College of the Ouachitas (COTO). Eight programs are offered through classes at NPTC, located on the campus of National Park College. Two programs are offered through classes at COTO in Malvern, AR. These technical programs are taught to industry standards, and most lead to industry certification or articulate into a two and/or four year college degree. The technical center programs of study generate dual credit that is posted on both high school and college transcripts. All costs including transportation are assumed by the school district.
