Student of the Week, Specials and Celebrations 

Student of the Week: Each week we will have a student of the week. An “All About Me”  poster will go home to be completed at home and returned to school. You can print or draw pictures and color or paint the poster in however your child would like. The student is also able to bring a special treat for the class and/or show and tell this week. Each student will get a turn. 

Volunteers: Throughout the year we are in need of volunteers to help with classroom activities, parties, cutting and sorting, and secret readers. I love having parents visit us and be part of classroom activities. A secret reader sign up will go home. Parents choose a book or two to read with this class. Some parents choose to bring a special treat or crafts during this time as well, these are not necessary, but always welcome. 

Parties: We will have two to three parties where parents will be invited. Please limit these to two guests  per child. 

Visiting the school: Any time guests visit the school for parties, secret reader or volunteering, they must check in a the office with ID before entering and check out when leaving. This is for safety reasons.
