Planners

Student Responsibilities:

Our school provides your child with a planner. It is your child's responsibility to write their homework assignments in their planner daily. It is also their responsibility to bring the planner home each night and back to school daily.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities: 

Please review that their homework assignments have been completed. Please feel free to use the planner as an open means of communication. You may also email me with any concerns or questions. I check email daily.

 Please check classroom website homepage for events and classroom news monthly.

Realtime Gradebook is updated weekly. Please check gradebook for your child's progress. If you don't see a grade for a given assignment it was most likely not turned in.

Please make sure your child is on track with reading. Your child should be reading 20-30 minutes per evening. It can be a library book from school, neighboring libraries.,etc. Please let me know if you are having trouble finding books. I have some books in the classroom that children are welcome to bring home.

 Homework Assignments/Class Assignments

 It is your child's responsibility to write their homework in their planner daily.  If you child is absent,  they are responsible for making up any missed assignments. 

Students may hand in homework one day late and receive half credit. There will be no credit given for homework turned in after two days.

The homework typically should take them about 30- 45 minutes. Please let me know if your child is struggling with their assignments or taking a long time to complete assignments.
