Weekly Update #4

Hello team! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. There have been a few changes to our schedule this week due to the cancelation of last Friday's meet. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we dealt with mother nature Friday night. Unfortunately we were unable to race Friday, but we have added a meet this Wednesday at Parkway Central to give everyone race experience before Saturday's Fort Zumwalt North's Twilight Invite.

Workouts this week

Monday 9/2 8:30-10:00am - workout on HS track (if you are out of town, you are excused from this practice and you do not need to email)

Tuesday 9/3 2:50-5:00pm - 4-7 mile long run

Wednesday 9/4 2:30-7:30pm - Fleet Feet XC Classic @ Parkway Central

Thursday 9/5 2:50-5:00pm - 2-4 mile recovery run

Friday 9/6 2:50-4:15pm - 2 mile recovery run and team meeting in Coach's room

Saturday 9/7 4:20-10pm - Fort Zumwalt North Twilight Meet

Sunday 9/8 - rest day

Fleet Feet XC Classic at Parkway Central - 2 mile Course Map

We are excited to have added the Fleet Feet XC Classic to our schedule this Wednesday! This is a fun, low pressure meet, perfect for our first race of the season. All athletes that race will receive a free shirt from the meet (if they have enough as we entered the meet after shirts were ordered). The meet is held at the fields directly behind the Parkway Central Middle School.

2:40 - Load bus at field house

4:30 - JV Girls - Lucy, Georgette, Nicole, Gillian, Leah, Louisa, Danielle, Madeline, Sydney, Abigail, Ari, Patricia, Ruth, Lihi, Anna H, Rachel, Joyce, Juana, Inbal, Taymae

5:30 - Varsity - Lena, Ginger, Kendall, Callie, Grace, Diya, May, Phoebe, Sami, Jordan

6:30 - Awards

(all runners not listed do not have enough practices to qualify for this meet).

Fort Zumwalt North Twilight Meet - 5K

This is the inaugural running of the FZN Twilight Meet. The race will take place at Pheasant Run Golf Course in O'Fallon, MO. We will be running under the lights of the course Saturday evening. Parents, please see the attached parking map.

4:20 - Load bus at field house

7:00 - JV girls (runners to be determined by Wednesday's meet)

8:00 - Varsity girls - top seven (runners to be determined by Wednesday's meet)

9:00 - Awards - top 25 medal & top 2 teams get trophies in both JV & Varsity

Parents and athletes, if you did not receive my messages on VNN Friday night as we waited on the storm in Eureka stating that the meet was postponed and then canceled, you need to sign up, as this is my main method of communicating important timely information. Pasta Dinner

Thank you to the Schulte's for hosting last week's pasta dinner! Also, thank you to the Conner's for hosting this Friday and for the assistance of the Janson, Liang and Seeger families! We are still in need of assistance and hosts for future pasta dinners so please sign up! (you cannot use a ladueschools account to sign up)

Meet Snack
