Who is a good fit for LXRDs?
Students who attend regularly but struggle to stay engaged in the larger school setting
Students who have significant barriers and missing skills for successfully engaging in the larger school setting
Students who struggle with frequent transitions and navigating changing expectations class period to class period
How do students get accepted into LXRDs?
Students are identified by attendance, grade, and behavioral data
Students are also identified by referral of Teachers, Counselors, Social Worker, Dean of Students, and Associate Principal
Students have to apply and get guardian approval. Applications can be picked up and returned to Student Services
Students who are accepted into the program will be notified by the respective LXRDs teacher
