Bargaining Update

Timeline

• Aug. 2025: KSFA notified KS of its intent to negotiate changes to the CBA.

• Feb. 26, 2026: First bargaining session held.

• Mar. 10 & Mar. 31: KSFA presented bargaining proposals.

• Apr. 14: KS rejected the proposals.

• Apr. 21 & 28: KSFA explained how proposals support KS's mission and students.

• May 5: KS asked KSFA to withdraw proposals and proposed allowing termination of first-year employees without just cause.

• May 7: KSFA submitted its wage proposal.

• Next Sessions: Expected in June 2026.
