Membership: The newsletter emphasizes the importance of increasing membership for a stronger bargaining position. "Covered employees" are encouraged to become members by completing a Dues Authorization Form and paying $15 per pay

Membership Status: Members can check their KSFA membership status and ask enrollment questions by emailing the Director of Finance, Punahele Kealanāhele, at Treasurer@kupaamau.org. 

Membership Status Check: Members can verify their status by checking their payslip in Workday for a "Union Dues - KSFA KSK" post-tax deduction or by emailing Punahele at Treasurer@kupaamau.org.

Join Our Staff/Help Wanted: KSFA has open representative positions at the Elementary School and High School and invites volunteers to reach out to president@kupaamau.org.

Membership Benefits: Benefits of KSFA membership include a t-shirt, invitations to special events (like the Labor Unity Picnic), and the right to vote on important decisions (Constitutional updates, contract ratifications, affiliation agreements). KSFA also attends individual disciplinary/investigation meetings and meets regularly with KS management to support members.

Checking Membership Status/Becoming a Member: Members can check their payslip in Workday for a post-tax deduction labeled "Union Dues - KSFA KSK." Those unsure of their status or wishing to join can email Treasurer@kupaamau.org or scan a QR code to complete a dues authorization form.

New T-Shirts: New KSFA t-shirts were distributed to members, funded by affiliate partners at IBEW-Local 1186.

Increased Membership: K.S.F.A. now has more members than covered employees, which strengthens their bargaining position.

"Red for Ed" Initiative: This initiative is active on Wednesdays at KES, KMS, and KHS campuses.
