Maintaining appropriate relationships with all members of the Cadet Corps is critical to the Corps success. Without exception, all relationships must be based on mutual respect.  This does not mean cadet officers and cadet-enlisted members cannot associate or be friends.  It means that this friendships cannot interfere with the integrity and/or mission of the Cadet Corps.  It is important to keep in mind that the variations in rank are a division of management, not a measurement of self-worth.  Many individuals have caused personal and organizational problems by either being arrogant towards those they out rank or by trying to be too friendly with them.
