In studying music, we have the opportunity to learn a unique language of human expression. The Music Department offers a variety of courses of interest not only to musicians but also to students majoring in other academic areas. There are performing ensembles and knowledge classes available for every level and interest.
Through participation in music course offerings, students will acquire proficiency in all Core Learning Standards for Music as set forth by the state of New York, and will work towards their required Art/Music credit.
