Bicycles and skateboards are not allowed inside the school building for any reason. Students should always lock their bicycles in the bike racks provided on the Fries side of the building. The school district is not responsible for bicycles left on campus.
Breakfast will be available daily from 7:40- 8:00 am.
Students who attend a KenTon school have a chromebook .
Please keep that in your their possession throughout summer school.
Standards in academics and behavior during the summer are governed by KTUFSD Policies and are identical to those enforced during the regular school year. Each student is expected to demonstrate the self-discipline and positive attitude necessary to succeed. Students can and will be suspended by a summer school administrator for an infraction of the district’s student Code of Conduct.
Students are expected to participate in class, complete assignments, and prepare for quizzes and tests. Students whose effort in summer school is unsatisfactory can expect difficulty understanding course material, lower grades, and a possibly not earning academic credit for the course.
Students are encouraged to use the library for research, studying, or borrowing. Our temporary library is in room 325, and is open from 9:00-11:00 am on days that summer school is in session. Ms. Lancer, our Library Media Specialist, is here to support you.
Lockers are not available for use by summer school students.
Lunches are not provided during summer school. However, Free lunch is available at the Sheridan Park-Side Community Center and in Lincoln Park, across from the Tennis Courts, from 11:00-1:00 pm
The health office is open during regular summer school hours.
Students and families may track their progress via Infinite Campus throughout the summer.
Students living more than 1.25 miles from Kenmore West are eligible for bus transportation.
There will be two bus runs; one with a morning drop off at Kenmore West at 7:45 am, and a 12:20 pm pickup at Kenmore West. A 2 pm bus is available for those stay for Credit Recovery and review classes during Block 3.
After July 10, the district transportation department will notify students via shoutpoint of the bus stops.
