Students must be on time for each instructional block.
Students should carry their home school or state I.D. while in attendance at summer school.
Students who misses more than 3 classes of instructional time will be denied credit for that course, and their enrollment in that course will be terminated.
Student time out of the classroom will be documented to ensure they meet State Education Department requirements:
A. Any student who is tardy more than 10 minutes (without a pass from the Main Office) will be charged a half absence.
B. Students out of the classroom for more than 10 minutes will receive a half absence.
C. Students often out of the classroom for less than 10 minutes, creating a regular pattern, may receive a half an absence.
D. Students violating the code of conduct will be sent home for the day and receive a full absence.
Summer School does not distinguish between excused and unexcused absences- regardless of the reason.
