NU110 Fundamental of nursing I

This course consists of a series of activities and assessments to assist students  in achieving the outcomes/objectives for the course which are Applying theoretical content to the nursing care of the client in a clinical setting Implement evidence-based care plans that reflect an understanding of the legal and ethical Responsibilities of the nurse, Secondly is performing nursing interventions that reflect caring behaviors in response to bio-psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual care needs, after that is assessing evidence-based nursing interventions as appropriate for managing the acute and chronic care of patients and promoting health across the lifespan, and finally is  Monitoring client outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions.

NU111 Primary Health care

By the end of this modules the students will be able to work after graduating in medical centers, giving public health care instructions to public to increase the awareness of community against diseases especially infectious diseases.

NU120 Fundamental of Nursing II

NU232 Maternal and Neonatal Nursing

At the end of the course the student will  learn  human reproduction and fetal development as related to the normal aspects of childbearing, and they can  Identify common complications of the mother and newborn during prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal periods. they will have the ability to carry  out nursing care plans and intervention for mothers during pregnancy and labor and finally they will be able to Apply different procedures and nursing care plans in relation to labor and gynecological problems

NU230 Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing

After completing this course, the students will  have information about mental disease, signs and symptoms and the way of treatment, they will be able to distinguish between mental disease according to signs and symptoms, they will be  Informed about treatment modalities of mental diseases.

NU243 Surgical Nursing

At the end of the course the student will be able to have Basic understanding of the Nursing principles, managements and procedures especially in the adult and elderly age groups. They will Be familiar with basic and common clinical conditions in adults and especially age related diseases and disorders, with a proper and sufficient knowledge , including their definitions , causes , clinical course , nursing supportive and if necessary clinical definite treatment of these conditions and finally they will be able to  Give discharge and follow up instructions and home nursing of disabled and those of need of special care.

NU240 Pediatric Nursing

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of scientific principles in the care and welfare of the pediatric clients and their family members and also demonstrating safe and competent pediatric nursing skills at the Registered Nursing student practitioner entry level. On the other hand  The student's care will reflect a mastery of knowledge and understanding of the principles of childhood growth and development as well as predictable behavior associated with the hospitalized child and family members.

NU231Medical Nursing

At the end of the course the student will be able to   have basic understanding of the Nursing principles especially in the adult and elderly age groups. Another point is to be familiar with basic and common clinical conditions in adults and especially age related diseases and disorders, with a proper and sufficient knowledge , including their definitions , causes , clinical course , nursing supportive and if necessary clinical definite treatment of these conditions, and the last point is How to give discharge and follow up instructions and home nursing of disabled and those of need of special care

 NU240Geriatric Nursing

Upon completion to this course student will have knowledge about: 

General information about geriatric nursing, Introduction of geriatric consideration in nursing, Changes associated with aging, Common problems in old age, Important considerations in care of geriatric clients.
