Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of scientific principles in the care and welfare of the pediatric clients and their family members and also demonstrating safe and competent pediatric nursing skills at the Registered Nursing student practitioner entry level. On the other hand The student's care will reflect a mastery of knowledge and understanding of the principles of childhood growth and development as well as predictable behavior associated with the hospitalized child and family members.
