It was estimated that a healthy and functioning loko iʻa could produce around 500 lbs of harvestable fish per acre, per year. To understand how our loko iʻa may compare to those estimates, paired snorkel surveys are conducted during summer months along seven 6m by 50m transects throughout the loko iʻa complex.
