Drill teaches Cadets the basics of leadership and followership, and what it means to work together as one. Cadets compete on a regional level with an opportunity to compete nationally.
The Academic Team competes on a national level and is challenged with material from the Naval Science Curriculum, SAT/ACT prep courses, current events, and pop culture.
Athletic Team competes in regional and national competitions which displays their physical abilities to outperform their competitors. Competitions could consist of any of the following exercises: Push-ups, Sit-ups, Pull-ups, Sprints, Relays, Shuttle-runs, Basketball tosses, Long-jumps, and more.
Orienteering is an Olympic sport that takes you outside and tests your abilities in map reading, navigation, and course selection. Cadets could earn athletic scholarships or a spot on the USA Junior Orienteering Team.
This STEM-related team competes on a national level against all services JROTC schools. Drone team Cadets can have the opportunity to earn a drone pilot license through the FAA.
Compete on a national level in a series of progressively more difficult challenges in cyber security. Competitor schools include JROTC and non-JROTC Schools. Cadets can EARN SCHOLARSHIPS for Cyber Security degrees in college.
