Cadets tests their natural smarts, and the knowledge they learn against other Cadets from around the world. Most recently, KRHS Cadets placed 2nd in the Area Athletic, Academic, and Drill Championships
Cadets on the Athletic Team compete in competitions in a variety of different exercises. These exercises may include: push-ups, sit-ups, relay races, basketball tosses, long jumps, and more.
Kingsway's Navy JROTC cadets use their time and effort for the greater good to give back to the community.
Orienteering is a competitive outdoor activity using a map and compass to navigate to a series of control points.
The individual or team visiting all the points in the fastest time is the winner.
On November 22nd, Kingsway NNDCC is proud to have hosted their first NJROTC competition for Area 2! Welcoming all units from across the area, various program compete in drill, acadedmics, pt, and uniform inspection. In addition, our own drill team competing for points went against other units in armed and awarded 1st in unarmed. This day wouldn't have been sucessful without the aid of everyone. Due to SCPO Schuster, our triad, Army ROTC Cadet Bianca Aulich, and all other cadets, their support made today run smoothly. Thank you all
This past weekend, cadets attend Manchester Drill Competition where they competed in Drill, Academics, and PT. Even Though they didn't place, they still did an outstanding job. Keep up the good work everyone, Bravo Zulu!
On November 14th, NJROTC cadets are invited to participate in the Veterans Day Breakfast located in KRMS. During this ceremony, many were honored for their service and some even told personal stories from loved ones. Today resembled connections brought together by remembering the Prisoners of War, honor current active duty and reserve, and celebrating life. Through Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, Marine Corps, to Space Force, we are grateful for your service.
Marking an annual field trip to the USS New Jersey, NS1 and NS2 cadets tour the battleship to gain significant history. During this, they learned sailors' responsibilities, understand what happens in daily life, and first hand learn about it's naval history. In addition, seeing the tight sleeping quarters, giant guns, and various control rooms brought to life the complexity that goes into living on a ship.
On 13 October, Kingsway Regional NJROTC students were invited out to the Navy/Marine Corps parade in Philadelphia. Celebrating this milestone, c/ Pompa and c/ Dodelin represented the Navy and Marine Corps flag, with c/ Zagorski commanding. In addition, c/ Neal and c/ Ortiz escorted them as riflemen. Secondly, Commanding Officer c/ Abreu, led the 18 - man platoon during their march. As we remember its significance, we celebrate heritage, honor service members, and demonstrate national power in unity. Thank you all for you service. Oorah and Hooyah!
Our cadets proudly wear pink while presenting colors to raise breast cancer awareness for the month of October. Through this night, we recognize those who are currently fighting, lost a loved one, or can proudly say they’ve defeated it. We also recognize the seniors who made an impact through their hard work and dedication. Thank you all, your efforts will not be forgotten
During the annual Salute to Service football game, Kingsway's NJROTC presented a 13 cadet color guard, with c/ Lt Abreu Commanding. We recognize the policeman, military members, EMS, firefighters, and Prisoners of War. Thank you all for your service. We salute you
Cadets head out to their 1st orienteering trip of the year. During their stay they learned techniques, deepened bonds, and pushed themselves as they're challenged by orienteering in the night and running slightly harder courses they're used to. Thanks to DVOA, these tips and tricks can help them climb the ladder in the orienteering world.

A new group of Cadets have successfully completed the 5-day long leadership training. This entails of academics, pt, gathering uniforms, drill, and team bonding while still including the discipline factor. They demonstrated teamwork, respect, and initiave while understanding the fundamentals of what it means to be apart of this unit. From early wakeups to going home late, we applaud you. Bravo Zulu!
Kingsway Regional High School’s NJROTC recently held a memorable Awards Night and Change of Command Ceremony, celebrating another year of excellence and achievement. The evening marked a significant milestone as Cadet Lieutenant Jolie Abreu, Cadet Ensign Emely Ortiz-Vicente, and Cadet Senior Chief Petty Officer Conor Pedrazzani were officially appointed as the new Commanding Officer (CO), Executive Officer (XO), and Command Master Chief (CMC), respectively. Their dedication and leadership promise a strong future for the unit.
