Volunteer Unit service 

Cadets volunteered to get together over the summer to help clean up and reorganize all of the new supplies while preparing for the upcoming BLT.

      Graduation Class of 2024

On 18 June 2024, Kingsway Regional High School celebrated the hard work of its class of 2024 and recognized all of the graduating class for their commitment and successful endeavors. Kingsways NJROTC presented the colors for the graduation and said goodbye to their fellow Senior cadets.

NJROTC Awards Night and Change of Command Ceremony

On 30 May 2024, the Kingsway Regional High School Navy JROTC unit hosted its 1st annual awards night, capped with the change of command ceremony.  Throughout the school year, cadets are challenged in many different facets of life and leadership, and these traits are what gets these young adults recognized by outside organizations. In total, 15 organizations presented 20 awards, 2 grants, and 1 scholarship. Cadet Company Commander Bianca earned the only scholarship which was worth approximately $120,000 over 3-years, to attend the US Army ROTC at Virginia Tech. 

At the conclusion of the program, the cadet core performed a change of command ceremony where the unit witnessed the rising of three exceptional cadets. Cadet CPO Michaela Obiri selected as Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Cadet Ensign Evan Neal  selected as Company Executive Officer (XO), and Cadet Lieutenant Junior Grade Luke Dodelin selected as Company Commanding Officer (CO). Bravo Zulu cadets!

Freshman Orientation

As the 2024 school year comes to a end, new cadets arrive to the program. The Freshman Orientation for these new cadets informs them on what to expect for the upcoming school year in the NJRTOC program.

Memorial Day Ceremony

On the last Monday of May Kingsway held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony for it is an important day to remember and honor military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The ceremony consisted of many impactful speeches, honorary ceremonies, and videos to remind students of the values of bravery, sacrifice, and service.

Orienteering

French Creek State Park Cub Scouts Championship Volunteering and Orienteering. 

Rancocas Comp.

NJROTC cadets went out to Rancocas and competed their best in Academics, Drill, PT, and Uniform Personal Inspection.

Military Ball

Kingsway and Rancocas joined together for a remarkable and unforgettable night at the Rancocas Military Ball.

Drill Banquet

Drill team members received their certificates, ribbons, and aiguillettes for their accomplishments throughout the season.

USNA Trip

NJROTC cadets take a trip down to Maryland to tour and learn about the United States Naval Academy.

Orienteering

Cadets head out to Willows and Skunk Hallow for more orienteering experience.

NJROTC National Academic Exam (NAE)

The National Academic Test is a challenging 100-question test that includes subjects like math, science, history, military topics, and news on current affairs. Schools are allowed to have up to five teams taking part, but at least one team is needed to join. Kingsway had two teams participate in this test. The first team came in 7th place and the second team came in 12th place

NS1 Area Drill Championships

Kingsway cadets worked hard all yearlong to make a statement for themselves. The performed well overall at NS1 Area Drill Championships.

2024 Annual Military InsPection

On 7 February 2024, Lieutenant Teresa Hicks conducted Kingsway Regional High School´s first-ever AMI for the Navy JROTC program. This was an annual review carried out by the Area Manager to make sure every NJROTC group was functioning and upholding the Navy's criteria. This official examination includes a thorough administrative examination, checks on individual uniforms, and a Pass-In-Review event. It was reported by Lieutenant Teresa Hicks that Kingsway´s NJROTC cadets were doing an extraordinary job and surpassed expectations, especially for a new program.
