Kimball Public Schools has taken measures to plan, secure, and allocate its human resources. With this we have made efforts to extend time with students by adding 10th period, extending teacher work hours, and scheduled staff developments. We have also increased parent communication through open houses, parent/teacher conferences, parent surveys, district newsletters, and an all call system. Our district works hard to involve the community in every aspect of learning. We invite community members to be involved in all district committees. In addition we have organizations like TeamMates and Kimball Prevention Coalition that creates opportunities for everyone to be successful.
Kimball Public Schools is managing their material resources by increasing the use of technology in the classroom. We are using existing materials like interactive whiteboards, computer labs, and kindles. Our district has implemented new technology by providing more classrooms with individual Chromebooks and implementing a learning management system. We are using several instructional materials to help support our district's technology. For example, we have done extensive research on implementing a new K-12 math series with a goal of being in place by Fall 2018. Leadership continues to actively seek fiscal resources to meet the needs of every learner.
