Jul 2024 - Egyptian Day

Year 4 are hosting an "Egyptian Day" at School on Friday, 12th July. There will be a full day of activities for Year 4 students based on Egyptian history. These activities will revise and extend the work covered in class during the term, and the children will be "active learners".


The price is £12 per child to cover the fee of the company hosting the event. This can be paid in the Arbor App:

Apr 2024 - London Transport Museum

We are pleased to inform you of a trip Year 4 have planned to the London Transport Museum. This visits ties in with our topic of ‘The History of the Railways’.


Each class will be going on separate days.

We will be travelling by train from Queensbury Station. The trip will take place during school time. We are also pleased to announce that the trip will be free.

We recommend that children bring a packed lunch with them on that day. However, should you wish for the school to provide a basic packed lunch, please let us know.


Children will need to wear school uniform on that day and bring a packed lunch with them. If your child is eligible for free school meals, a packed lunch will be provided, upon request.

There is no cost for this trip, please give consent for your child to attend in Arbor in the Trips section (see help section below)

How to give permission for your child to attend a trip in Arbor

Dec 2023 - Year 4 Performance of Yee-Ha!

Tickets are on sale for £2.50 per person for both the matinee (2pm) and the evening (7pm) performance on Thursday 14th December.  These can be purchased from the 'School Shop' in Arbor.  


All of the children in the Junior school will also get to see the show.


We ask that children in Year 6 and below are not allowed to the evening performance, it is for adults and secondary school pupils only.

Nov 2023 - Teaching Talons - Mobile Zoo

We are delighted to confirm that we have arranged a visit from Teaching Talons, a multi-award winning, family run animal encounters mobile zoo on Friday 3rd November.


The children will be treated to an unforgettable learning experience in the comfort of the classroom - meeting and handling native and exotic animals and birds. The workshops are linked to our Science and Literacy curriculum where the children will be learning about animal adaptations and also writing reports.
