Welcome to Year 4
In Year 4 we have daily Reading, Literacy and Maths lessons. Across each term, we also study our foundation subjects which include History, Geography, Science, Computing, Art, Design and Technology, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) French and RE (Religious Education). These subjects are usually taught by the class teacher.
We are very lucky to have two specialist teachers in school, Mrs Nagle who teaches Music and Mr Kelley who teaches PE (Physical Education). Each class has one Music lesson and two PE lessons a week..

Online Resources
All the children have logged into their Google classroom at school.
There is no need for them to enter a code on their device at home. If this message comes up please make sure that your child is logged into their google account.
Homework and spellings will be posted online in google classroom weekly.
Your child should have used this reading resource last year and should continue with reading at least 2/3 books a week. Staff will be monitoring usage this year so please ensure your child has access to BugClub books regularly.

If your child has special needs, Miss Fraser, is very happy to meet with you. Please contact the office to make an appointment. We hope that you find this information useful when supporting your child with their studies .
