CENTER INFORMATION
At K-M Project Kids/Project Beginnings, we nurture and stimulate each child's growth in a safe, caring, and engaging environment through play, respect, and trust.
Project Kids Child Care Center has a vibrant history deeply rooted in our commitment to serving local families. Originally part of Byron Project Kids, our center became independent to better focus on our community's unique needs.
Later, we expanded to include preschool services, supporting families with children in School Readiness classes through Community Education. This marked a significant step in offering comprehensive care and education for children of different ages under one roof.
In September 2018, our dedication to excellence in child care was recognized with certification from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (MN DHS) as a Certified Child Care Center. This certification underscores our adherence to rigorous standards and best practices.
In response to community feedback, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched Project Beginnings in May 2020. By November 2020, we opened our doors to infants and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 33 months, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment. Starting small, we have grown to accommodate 16 infants, 21 toddlers, and 4 preschool rooms.
Our commitment to school-age care remains steadfast, offering enriching activities conveniently located within our center. As an integral part of Community Education, we thrive on community support and collaboration, continuously evolving to meet and exceed expectations.
