Purpose

This lab focuses on the Car CAN-BUS System Teaching Board, which is designed to provide practical knowledge about the communication protocol, principles and operation of the Controller Area Network (CAN) Bus system used in modern vehicles. It enables students to learn how electronic control units (ECUs) communicate over a CAN-BUS network, understand fault diagnostics, and explore real-time data transmission in automotive systems.

Lab Materials

• CAN-BUS Teaching Board (with simulated ECUs for different subsystems)

• Microcontrollers or Processors 

• Input Devices (e.g., switches, buttons, potentiometers)

• Output Devices (e.g., LEDs, LCD displays, motors, actuators)

• CAN-BUS Cables and Connectors

• DC Power Supply 

• Oscilloscopes and Multimeters

• Power Distribution Board
